Kudos to this software.
I'm serious, this program rocks. SNES9x, bSNES, and all other SNES emulators I've tried simply aren't as aesthetically pleasing, smooth running, or otherwise cool.
The only problem that's even worth caring about in zSNES is the desync errors. Big deal, I'll cope, especially because the same kind errors seem to pop up in every other emulator out there.
I'm a hobbyist programmer, and I know how my own little personal projects have really weird glitches like this, and how hard they are to fix. I also know how hard it is to write software that's not sloppily thrown together and coded, and won't break every time you poke it with a stick.
Keep up the good work.
Kudos to zSNES

Thanks. You'll probably be pleased to know that pagefault's current work will fix that issue (along with many, many others that you haven't noticed).

<jmr> bsnes has the most accurate wiki page but it takes forever to load (or something)
That's actually pretty damned cool.grinvader wrote:Thanks. You'll probably be pleased to know that pagefault's current work will fix that issue (along with many, many others that you haven't noticed).
Seeing a permafix to desyncing in the NetPlay and movies would be impressive. I mean, I can kind of grasp what might cause them. Is it wrong of me to suspect it has something to do with multiple threads in zSNES and the threads themselves going out of sync? Yeah, that could do it real easy.
