Feature Request: 1280x720 (720p) for HDTV Devices

Hi all,

there is no supply for this resolution so i have to use snes9x at the moment

Would be great, if this important resolution will be availible in the next version of zsnes!

edit: my hdtv is connected through dvi, and i will work with the native resolution of the panel 1280x720.

Is 1280x720 even a standard resolution?

1280x720 is one of the preset resolutions in the Display panel for my monitor as well, so it's not restricted to HDTVs.

There are several other "standard" 16:9 aspect ratio resolutions that could be added as well. It would be nice if the developers could go ahead and add Windows-specific code to detect available resolutions, though I understand their objections to the issue.

1280x720 is 16:9 ratio...ok, for people with normal crt monitors its not usefull - But people like me with for example a 50" dlp rearprojection tv, it's the ultimate choice

PS:Other emu does support that resolution, like mame, winuae, ccs64...

The closest thing my flat panel supports is 1280*768... Oh well.
