Problem running kirby superstar and SMW2

Every time I load these roms up, I get a notice that says, "If you are using a superscope, mouse, or multiplayer adapter, switch to controller." How do I make it go away? I have a ps2 controller hooked up, and all of my other roms work fine.

Make sure players (input) #2-5 are disabled.

I use SNES9K and each time when me and my friend tried to play it said same thing im not sure how to fix it cause i don't know where input is
