Okay, I was on www.ngemu.com recently and happened to notice a Dreamcast emulator called "Makaron T9" and thought "cool! Sounds like another awesome DC emulator!" Well, despite the fact that I saw screenshots on http://emu.makii.pl/njus_detal.php3?id=1913, I was proved wrong. The emulator does not, I repeat, does not work at all. I get an error message when I load an ISO, but the message is not in English. Keep in mind that even after downloading all the required .dll files, it does not load! Can someone tell me what the crap's going on here?
Edit: it seems it may be related to the fact that the USA Bios is not in the "ROM" folder. Well, I put there, alright, but there's another illegible error dialog.

Makaron Test 9 (?) Dreamcast emulator....

Well, Makaron is being coded by a polish developer, so what you're seeing is in polish (you haven't forgotten Poland, have you?)
That aside, I have never been able to boot any of my games in Makaron despite using the same BIOS files as the developer. Sure, I can boot up the BIOS screen, but that's it.
Note that Makaron expects these BIOS files to be present in the ROM folder:
BIOS_USA.bin
FLASH_USA.bin
BIOS_EU.bin
FLASH_EU.bin
BIOS_JP.bin
FLASH_JP.bin
As to why it doesn't recognize yours, I can't say. Also, you need to have "preinstalled" Makaron Test 8 prior to using Test 9.

so your ability to use it is what determines it is good?
also bioses aren't illegal, stealing is illegal. Therefore stealing bioses is illegal, but so is stealing bikes, so what's the point?
also, I wouldn't say the emulator is bad yet, I'd say it's incomplete, they call it TEST for a reason.
so THIS is why emu authors don't release WIPs.
Seriously, what kind of asshole makes an old-school 2D emulator that requires a Core 2 to get full speed? >:(
