Favorite Games you like to play with ZSNES?
Me I love to play Lunar Magic Super Mario World.
I will make tough levels and then play them.
I will get better at Lunar Magic as time goes by and I keep practicing.

Being as I'm only 16 years old, and missed most of the SNES era, I myself play good games that I didn't get to play on the actual console; Super Mario RPG, Super Metroid (Yeah, I know; it was out while I was old enough to play it, but I didn't appreciate it at the time), Secret of Mana, and some games that I DID play on the console; for example, Earthbound.

I doubt you could do anything at 2. I know an 8 months old played through super mario bros 1-1, but super metroid's quite above "press start to play, 2 button game".Super Metroid (Yeah, I know; it was out while I was old enough to play it
No offense intended.

Eh, back in the day my friend's 2-year old little brother could get through Wood Man's board... he wasn't coordinated enough to dodge the falling leaves though and always got his ass handed to him by Wood Man himself. Still, I was floored by it. The kid couldn't even form coherent sentences reliably, but he could dodge atomic chickens.grinvader wrote:I doubt you could do anything at 2. Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

As i said, 2 buttons + linear game is something, 6 + open game isn't.

I like to play Tales of Phantasia online from time to time, Donkey Kong Country, Wild guns and Megaman. As far as Mario World. Mario World is so overrated. I'd prefer donkey kong as a platformer. I just don't get how people can play it so much. I used to be a big Mario World fan when I was younger, but I'd rather play super mario bros 3.

Super Metroid, Prince of Persia, Rock n Roll Racing, Super Mario World, Zelda ALTTP, DKC and MMX series and much others! SNES is the best console ever to me!!!
I'm not a RPG fan (except for Zelda games) but Tales of Phantasia takes my attention, and more than 60 hours of my time...

Real gamers eat their metroids* 100% with a keyboard under one hour and a half.Edea wrote:thus relegated to a keyboard.

back in the DAYZ I didn't have a gamepad for the longest time and tought myself to play with a row of keys (Z,X,C,V) and the number pad (rather than the arrow keys so you have diagonals like for Sabin's Blitzes etc.)
I'm so gonna get carpal tunnel syndrom any day now.

I don't exactly know the map by heart (although close, just because I played far too much), but I do know the sequence(s).Gil_Hamilton wrote:I can't do that on a decent gamepad.
I should really learn the map someday.
Learning the map doesn't tell you what to grab when, unless that's what you meant by it.
Learning sequences is more effective (and way less spammy !) imo.
Free of charge, the ultrabasic borderline stupid sequence (optional stuff left out):
morph ball, missile, morph bomb, super missile, high jump, varia, speed booster, ice beam, power bomb, grapple beam, gravity suit, space jump, screw attack.

Also: I hate Maridia.

True maridia hate stems from trying a RBO run.
Lower norfair may be tougher on the item/energy management, but at least you move FAST.
