Viewing DVD image galleries on a computer
MPC and VLC at least seems unable to do this. Does anyone know of a player that isn't (or of another way to do it)?

most of the these DVD photo galleries on DVD's usually have a DVD menu interface for them, that either have the next and back as selectable actions or use the next track/angle buttons.
the only free windows player I know that supports the angle function is Media Player Classic.

- Yes, but don’t change the subject.

That's my problem. When I select View Photo Gallery or whatever, I can't do anything after that. Next/back/angle doesn't work as it does with a standalone player.funkyass wrote:most of the these DVD photo galleries on DVD's usually have a DVD menu interface for them, that either have the next and back as selectable actions or use the next track/angle buttons.

Some time ago I was going through all Alien 1..4 DVDs, loaned from a relative (even saved some stills here). Unfortunately I don't remember the DVD player - it might've been Media Player Classic, VLC or WinDVD...
Maybe you can go to the pictures directly via the "Navigate" submenu?

But does it spin backwards in the southern hemisphere ?Gil_Hamilton wrote:Except that the DVDs with image galleries spin backwards!11111whicker wrote:as anything,
it's just a matter of software and time.
there is no reason why it cannot work.
Or is that not funny now that people have quit claiming it about every new disk that comes by?
