emulator controller compatability problem?

Gamepad acting up? Keyboard not responding properly? Can't get that other user to work? Read and post about it here.

emulator controller compatability problem?

Post by bigmathatrucka »

I recently bought a logitech dual analogue controller to use with games such as final fantasy and others so I didn't have to use the keyboard anymore but I'm having problems using it. I know that I should go to input and select keyboard/gamepad on input#2 and then select an operation and when it asks me to press a key press a key on my controller to assign it but it doesn't seem to ever recognize that my controller is plugged in. Is there some step I have forgotten or something else I need to do? Any help is appreciated

You mean the Logitech Dual Action.

Install the latest Logitech Gaming Software and disable the Logitech Profiler.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

i've done that and although zsnes will now let me configure the buttons of the controller and seems to recognize them when pushed when I exit the zsnes screen to return to my game it still only recognizes the keyboard...I tried going to the devices page and set a button to switch the input mode between super scope and those other inputs in hopes of getting around to gamepad in port 2 but it skips that input and goes straight to mouse every cycle through?
