Help me get my logitech controller to work please!!!!!!

I just bought a logitech controller off ebay to use with ZSnes. I downloaded the drivers for it off their website. I go to config then input and try to input the control keys using the new controller but it doesn't even seem to recognize it nuthing happeneds. I am not good with this kind of stuff but I really want to use my new controller because using the keyboard definantly sucks! So someone please help a noob!! I got aim my name in timfbmx if someone can chat with me on there or another messaging program that would be awsome!

I tried but my comp wont recognize the conroller for some reason

can u help hit me up on aim? my name is timfbmx

if windows doesn't see it at all, there's likely either a problem with the usb port you're using or the controller. if the controller doesn't work in other ports, either, then you likely got screwed by your seller.
