Keyboard and Controller not working.

Keyboard and Controller not working.
Sometimes while I play FFXI I would like to play games on ZSNES, but ZSNES refuses to detect any functions including keyboard ones. When I try to set keys the program freezes up on me. I also tried to use my controller mapping software but I got the same result. Any advice would be helpful.

I'm not sure what good you would do to run two apps that both demand the keyboard controls. That's not an issue we can solve, given than you should obviously close FFXI before running ZSNES.
In any case, it would help providing system specs, particularly what OS you use and the gamepad you have.
The only suggest I have is a reboot.

The controller I use is the Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2.
UPDATE: I started ZSNES before I booted up FFXI and the controllers went wacky when the game started. I will make a profile for ZSNES and see if it will work then.
UPDATE: I got both working after I made a map for the controller for ZSNES and started ZSNES before FFXI. Thanks for the help.
