.ZMV files?

Post by Tsu »

I must admit I'm a newbie to all the new (relatively new i guess) features ZSNES has, because for the past 4 years I've just used it for roms, period.

Anyways, recently I downloaded a .zmv file and it didn't play. Is there something I must do before I can view playbacks on zsnes?

edit* apologies if this was discussed in another thread.

Make sure the ZMV file matches the name of the game you're trying to play the movie with.

ex. Game - Super Mario World (U).smc
Movie file - Super Mario World (U).zmv

If possible, find out what version of ZSNES the .zmv was made with, and use that one. With the continued timing overhaul, you may have severe problems with one version to another.

phonymike: well the same amount of raw metals used in a car costs a fraction of the price of a new car idiot. I'm gonna take away your posting privileges and replace them with my balls on your chin.

1 - load the game
2 - go to Misc -> Movie option
3 - select the right slot. ZMV = slot 0, ZM1 = slot 1, ...
4 - press play

Code: Select all

<jmr> bsnes has the most accurate wiki page but it takes forever to load (or something)
