v 1.4 esc causes zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) to crash

whenever you hit esc to get the file menu up zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) crashes..

there has also been trouble saving my games

special filters for special people. when you spelled zsnes, you left out the S (z-n-e-s). so the filters catches such mistakes and corrects them for you. and insults you in the process.

as for your problem i cannot confirm. ESC works just fine.

As mentioned in the readme, when running a ROM off a CD, you should setup a save directory, I believe that's your problem.

I also experience this weird bug. Although for me, it occurs randomly. Pressing esc produces an illegal operation.

I believe that this bug is now fixed in CVS. Just don't make your saves read-only.

You can make the Savestates (ZST-ZS9) read Only!

BUT not the Saved battery RAM (SRM) because then 1.40 crushs when you hit esc.
