Please help me, I'm not sure what's wrong

I just got a new computer, and now this doesn't work for me anymore. It comes up so small, and when I try to make it bigger the program shuts itself down.

What's wrong?

No kidding, after that when I try and make it bigger the program just shuts itself down.

I just loaded up the program and took a picture of it, I know I have to press Z.

Try going into the Video dialog and going to 640x480x16 DR Full?

Okay, I tried doing what was said above. I never had to do this on my other computer, in fact I never even had to make it bigger at all. It always just came up full screen, not that crappy mini screen I can barly see.

Image

It looks so blury, and is a lot bigger than I remember it. Whenever a select one of the 'full' ones the program just won't open up anymore (like I said above). Oh, and the one selected in the picture is what it's set on.

Any clues what's wrong?

Update drivers: First, find out what your video card is. (Click Start, click run, in the box type dxdiag, then click OK. If you get a popup asking to verify WHQL sigantures, click Yes. Then click the Display Tab, and look at the text after "Name:".) Once you know your vid card name and brand, search for drivers for it on Yahoo, and you should be underway.
Update Direct X: Simple. Just hit up www.microsoft.com and search under Direct X. (The latest version should be 9.0c) Then when you find the link to download it, click it, and enjoy!
Just another note, which is sorta off topic: Go to http://www.windowsupdate.com and get all your security (critical) updates.
PS: If he's using windows XP, shouldn't he already have the latest Direct X? :?I know I did...
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Not necessarily.

My copy of Windows XP Professional/Corporate had DX8 preinstalled...

My copy of Windows XP had Direct X 9 ready to go on it when I first got my PC, too long ago, and DX9 was top of the line... And I went through all the revisions to 9 as well.

It's related to the scale mode you used. S in the DS (if you look closely) means your are scaling the image, thus making it look "bigger".

As for the blur, try to set the resolution to be the same as your desktop resolution. The screen looks kinda weird when you are using a different res in ZSNES than your Windows res.

Try DS+ the resolution of your monitor.
Yes I know that my grammar sucks!
