Sound question
Hi, i'm just messin' around with the sound settings in zsnes seeing which one sounds better. And I was wondering what lowpass does exactly?

The option you're talking about filters the sound so that low frequency sounds (like explosions) sound clear and not fuzzy.
When you enable a lowpass sound filter, it filters the bass sound of any
static and white noise, so that it sounds authentic. Its pretty technical in how it works exactly(in terms of isolating certain frequency ranges), so I can't give you a proper definition (as I don't understand it fully). But this is the best definition I can think of off the top of my head.
