Problem with saving on Chrono Trigger.

Post by Keevtara »

I dowloaded Chrono Trigger and ZSnes a few days ago, and had no problems playing and saving at the time.

Yesterday, I showed this to my little brother, and he wanted to download a few other games. When I tried playing Chrono Trigger this morning, my save files were gone. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Go to Config-->Options, and enable "SRAM Check+Save" and see if it helps.

Note to devs: this option should probably be enabled by default.

I'll try it, then come back and report. Thank you.

I had it explained to me like so: It isn't enabled by default because there are a few games that use SRAM for work memory, and are thus writing to it all the time. This would mean hard drive access all the time.
