auto change desktop resolution???

i searched the forums and couldnt find anything about this. is it possible to have zsnes automatically change the resolution of your desktop so that u can use higher res' without having to do it manually? like in quake 3 how when i can just start it up and it automatically changes my desktop res. i cant run my desktop higher than 800 600 cus my other monitors are older and cant go that high.( i have multiple screens) otherwise i would just leave my desktop at a high res at all times. and its just annoying having to change my desktop to a high res everytime i want to play zsnes. If there is a way to do this, please let me know. thanks in advance.

If ZSNES is set to full-screen, it will change your screen resolution, and restore it when you close ZSNES.

yep just tried again.... then again... and about 20 more times just for the heck of it. it does not change your desktop res. and i have it set to fullscreen.

i cannot fucking believe the help on this board.... OBVIOUSLY something is WRONG. IT IS NOT CHANGING MY DESKTOP RESOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if it WERE i WOULD NOT be posting asking WHY its not working. dont bother fucking posting back if your not actually going to stop and think about why it may not be working. YES ITS SET TO FULL FUCKING SCREEN MODE. ive already established that. maybe your too fucking stupid to read and missed that part. now, if anyone could tell me what could cause zsnes from changing the desktop res, i would love to hear it. assuming anyone posts an actual response rather than an idiotic outburst. thanks in advance.

disable the other monitors when you are using zsnes.

I'm sure that this contention could have been avoided if everyone on the forum simply made a point to not insult the people they were trying to help, whether or not they think the person asking a question may deserve it. I think most newcomers would probably want to leave if they are insulted after kindly asking a question about something.

seam, if you're still interested in getting help, have you tried all of the available resolutions ZSNES offers in full-screen modes? Which version of ZSNES are you using—the windows port of 1.42?

Come on, flaming this retard was worth it. He couldn't find the Config->Video box, and he refused to listen to perfectly sound pieces of advice.

seam - you can't change your res until you have a functionnal brain.
