Please don't be ignorant with me. It's my first time using Linux. I know, I should've thought about running it from the command line. For some reason I didn't think about it.

Well, I think I figured out my problem. When I try opening it in the command line I get the error "Could not set 512x448 video mode: No available video device"
Does this mean I don't have the drivers for my video card?

Okay, I've tried figuring this out myself, but I'm stumped. I really want to get this to work. I would try making zsnes open in a different resolution, but I don't know the command-line switch. I tried opening zsnes with the -? switch to see if I could find it, but I couldn't. I looked in the docs, too, but couldn't find anything. Please help. I'm desparate.

I still can't get it to work. I edited the cfg file to make zsnes open in 640x480 res but when I try to open it, it still tries to set 512x448. Why won't it obey the cgf file? And, also, this is a stupid question, but what's RTFM? (sorry for multiple smilies, but that's how I feel right now)

Oh, yeah, that's what it means. I swear I did. I guess I should'nt be on the computer 'til 4 in the morning. I think I'll go to bed now. Then I'll read the manual again once I've had some rest. If I can't get it to work, I'll just use snes9x, as I've gotten it to work. G'nite.
