What version of ZSNES are you currently using? To my knowledge, ZSNES suppots at least a few BS-X games.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?

Read the Zsnes FAQ for great justice.

Sorry for the thread revival, but at this moment I'm trying to add some BS info (no pun intended) to the FAQ.

What is the BS-X BIOS needed for exactly? Not all BS games need it, correct?

ZSNES currently does not make use of the BIOS. When it does, it will be needed for all BS games.
May 9 2007 - NSRT 3.4, now with lots of hashing and even more accurate information! Go download it.

Thanks, I've committed a Q&A to CVS that should suffice. :)

Game doesn't officially 'start' until *:04.

With a non-copier (headerless) image, go to $24 and modify to $04.
It will skip the introduction and enable the joypad.

Note: BS Mario Excitebike 3. Probably works the same for all 4.
