Game Genie problem

Post by Uberbadger »

I have added a couple of codes to see if I did it right and even after restart and re-loading the game, I can not seem to get the codes to work.

Anyone out there able to help?

If it doesn't work, then you aren't modifying the "correct" memory value... You must be editing something else, VRam value or whatever... Try another one until you get the right or be stuck with DMA XD...

Make sure you include the "-" in it.
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

Regarding Game Genie codes...

When you are entering the codes, make sure it appears on the cheat list (after clicking the Add button)

Also.. on some games (usually ones with a revision other than 1.0 - to determine game versions, use NSRT), Game Genie codes probably won't work..

Try to get the version 1.0 of these games.. examples of games that have revisions: FF3, FF2, DKC...
