I am currently an extreme linux noob. I have enabled two snes controllers to work through the parallel port in redhat 9. I am trying to make a system that, when I play on zsnes, the gui can be brought up using only the snes controllers. I am not really sure where the rpm put the zsnes config file. I am currently working on this for a class project.
Questions:
Can the gui be made independant?
What steps need to implemented for this?
Where is the zsnes config file usually stashed in redhat?
Any help at all on this would be very much appreciated!!!!!

Not a bad idea to add though. Maybe I'll go do that when I have some free time.

I have been looking through the source. If the gui files were actually done in assembly I am very impressed.Actually, I am impressed anyway. I was wondering if I could insert the joystick button code for the GUIescpress I found in the guikeys.inc file. I was hoping if i did this it would call up the gui. Any ideas would be appreciated. I do have a rudimentary knowledge in C++ and assembly.
