Hello,
My problem is as follows. When I use ZSNES v1.42 Win32, and I type anything in a dialogue box (for example in the fields when setting up netplay or in the text field in the bottom of the Windows used to open roms), the text crawls to a slow after the first 4-6 letters and delays heavily, taking about 10-30 seconds to catch up. Aside from being a pet peeve, it tends to make chat in netplay near impossible. I do not know why this is, or how to fix it. Has anyone else come across this issue? It seems to do it virtually no matter how I have the emulator setup. I use this emulator on three different systems all of which have the same issue.

Are you using the latest WIP?

I just tried the latest WIP, and it seems to have cleared up the issue. However, "Netplay" no longer seems to be an option (intentionally so). Does anyone know what is up with that? Oh well, thanks for the advice. Just goes to show you that paying attention pays off. I just as well assumed 1.42 non-WIP was the latest greatest because I usually try to avoid anything with words like "in progress" or "beta". My mistake.
Cool. I liked the feature. I'd be upset if it were gone forever. I do see their point though. I used to (a long long time ago) play ZSNES netplay all the time (when the original Athlon XP was concidered highend). Recently I had tried again but with no way what-so-ever of actually making it connect. I was kind of baffled, but figured I had just made a mistake with those pesky network settings. Perhaps it wasn't me.

<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?
