Attempting to set up a pad as controller 2?

Hey, I've been attempting to set up a pad as Input #2

But it's not responding, it just does nothing when i "input key for up"
I tried putting it on input #1, which works fine on my computer, but not on my GF's computer.

Any clue what is going on?

Did you press 'Set' after selecting Keyboard/Joystick?

I don't believe I did. What happens was this.

At first, we tried to press "keyboard/Joystick" so we could set the Keys, nothing happened. So we pressed "Set" then "K/J" and it started to work.

But it just crashed when we put the keys in.

i think that I read somewhere that entering the keys one by one manually would work, and I haven't had a shot at that option yet.

Please use a recent ZSNES - the latest WIP for example.

Then, in Config->Input, first select 'keyb/joystick' then press 'set'.
Then press 'set keys'.

Right, now I've read that netplay doesn't work on the latest version.

Does that mean I won't be able to connect with my friends directly?

Netplay has been completely disabled to my knowledge, and will be rewritten.

Then I'll suffer, net play is the best thing about having a snes emulator.

If I just wanted to play the games, i'd just use my snes.

Use ZSNES v1.36; it's netplay support should be pretty solid.

I use 1.42 (I think, I keep forgeting) and netplay works sweet on that thus far
