Well the title about says it all. I have an older Thinkpad Laptop (P133) that does not have USB or gamepad ports. It is running Windows 98.
I built a PSX to Parallel interface and hooked up the PSX pad on LPT1.
This laptop is too old though and ZSNES runs a tad slow in Windows but runs quite well with the DOS version.
I am desperate to get this working.
Also, for whatever reason SNESKey crashes my system every time.

That would be great, but I can't seem to find a driver.
SNESKeys seems like it may work but that crashes my system every time. I tried to tweak it for a while with no luck.
Does anyone know of a DOS program, maybe TSR, that would poll the parallel port and convert the signals to pre-defined key-strokes? That would do the trick I think.
If I could program worth a damn I'd do it myself
