i have been using zsnes for two years now and for most of that time i have used my saitek gamepad and it has worked. until recently now when i try to set up my controler. (had to download zsnes agine after a hard drive crash.) it locks up and i have to hit ctrl alt del to exit out. why did my controler stop working. and how do i fix it?
no my controler works fine with other emulators and i don't have another controler. but i managed to work it out by recalberating the controler so if anyone else has this problum simply fallow these steps.
one open your control panal in the start menu
go to printers and other hardware
go to game controlers
find your controler on the list of controlers
single click on it and go to properties
then move the controler around and push all the buttons it the test page does things like numbers light up and the cross hair moves then you need to recalberate it. (you have to do this when you connect the controler) so go to settings and left click on calabrate then fallow the instructions then it should work just fine.
It would be wise to always calibrate controllers, even though they probably won't need it.
