Is it on the agenda? Will it be done in the future? I'm sure a lot of ppl wpuld be gratefull at zbattle. Thats the place buzzing away as we speak.

If I remember reading the change logs correctly, wasn't it removed because it caused horrible timing issues with other stuff (yeah, I can't remember what) and won't be recoded until that stuff is finished? I'd check what it was, but I just finished a reboot and need to catch up on other things.

Assuming each verse takes an average of 12 seconds to sing (due to the really big numbers), you're saying that 4-player netplay will be done in 1,633 years, whereas fenty's estimate (using 10 seconds per verse) is a mere 3.2 years.grinvader wrote:Better make it 4,294,967,295 bottles.

So, do ya reckon theres a possible time it could be ready? Even if it was 3 years i could wait. I'd count the days merrily & cross a day out of a specially made calender everynight.

While we're there... actually, I could see using about 8 clients in a netgame, maybe even more. Not kidding either. I have a group of friends, one of which is fairly ludicrously good at super metroid (not the only game we do this with either, though it is the primary one), and we like to have people sit in on the games and watch. We've been stuck using snes9x when there's more than one, but we strongly prefer ZSNES, and we could probably get 8 people observing at once at times. Obviously, only one person actually has controls enabled in this type of game... but it would be really handy if ZSNES could support a large number of players, maybe with some allowances to just try to keep the non-playing guys as up-to-date as possible without slowing down the game for the people that have controls on. Snes9x has HUGE desync issues with this kind of thing (and never resyncs without a reload,) I'm hoping ZSNES can solve that and support big exhibition games... it certainly handles 2 player a lot better so far. Is this feasible?Make it 5 player netplay while we're there... Like for Super Bomberman 5.
