Hey there.
I recently went out and bought this recoil plug and play controller for my DOS Zsnes. It installed and what not just fine, but when I try to set the keys the buttons don't respond. I noticed that some other people here had similar problems, but I only found two topics, one where the problem was solved by the person who had the problem, and the other I already tried. I quit Zsnes and started it back up without loading a rom. Didn't work. I checked the faq and couldn't find any help there.
I'd really appreciate help with this. None of the buttons respond at all when a game is going, and when I'm in the config menu, only a few of them work, and only if I set the thing to 8 button joystick.
...help?
problem with recoil controller

DOS doesn't have USB support, iirc.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?
NSRT here.
NSRT here.
Then you can't use that joystick. as AOL said, DOS doesn't support USB - it lacks the drivers, and if the drivers did exist, the dos version of zsnes wouldn't use them.betachris_00 wrote:yeah, it plugs into the usb port on the back of my compy. Are you sure there's no way to make it work with DOS? I can't use the windows version.
