Zsnes Problems after Video Mode is Set !!!!

Hoi @all here!!!!

I have some Problems with Zsnes.Since the LAst Days i hav a
major Problem.When i start Zsnes and i will change the video
Mode Settings.After Change to a other Video MOde The Message
*Hit any Key appears,then when i hit a Key Zsnes freezes up
No Reaction any more.I dont Know why this Mess is happens
LAst Week all Runs Fine.i try older Versions from Zsnes,the
Problem still Remains.What the Hell goes Wrong in Zsnes or
my PC.

Intel p4 2,54 GHZ Windows Xp Pro Direct x 9
Nvidea Driver 6.14.10

Try downloading the latest WIP, also, as a rule of thumb, when you download and use a new version (or an old version) delete your .cfg files, do a clean install.
*Sometimes I edit my posts just to correct mistakes.

Do you have a slider on your gamepad? If so, try unplugging the controller, set the video mode, save your config, restart ZSNES with the gamepad plugged back in.

On Linux (and yes, I know you're using Windows, but it might be the same problem still), when my slider wasn't in the 0 position (not too far left and not too far right, which I could never get it to be, hence the take it out suggestion), it would cause the video screen to "lock up" because it was waiting for me to stop pressing keys before it could accept new input.

If you don't have any gamepads, then I don't know.

Spaces are good after periods.
Random capitalization is bad.

I believe I've run into this problem before, try switching to different video modes(other than the one that crashes the computer). I have one video mode that crashes zsnes, but the rest work fine.
It is my job to teach the dumb.
