Can I record directly from ZSNES?

Post by HyuugaNeji »

I really like some of the music from a lot of my games and I was wondering if there was a way to record the music that plays and put it on my MP3 player. Thanks for the help.

You can dump them to a spc file format, then dump it to wav.

Of course, you'll also need a program which dumps background sounds to wav, such as All2Wav Recorder.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

You can rip a game's music in a .spc format, then turn it into wav or mp3 using winamp. Search the board for more information. You need a special plug in for winamp for it to work.

That would be the SNESAmp plugin, which enables Winamp to play SPC files.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Snes Amp as Agozer said... http://www.snesmusic.org/v2/
Just use that site to help you out and use any wave to mp3 converter and you're set. I use this tiny little program called Alive MP3 WAV converter. It converters mp3s, wavs, oggs, and some other crap from any of those formats to the other quite well. I do that to make Chrono Trigger ringtones for my cellphone.
