Sleep during menu loop
I can't help but notice that when ZSNES is in its internal menu, it's eating CPU cycles like crazy. I typically use this menu as a sort of pause screen so I can do other things on my computer (I run in a window), but if ZSNES has the whole CPU it's kinda difficult to do compiles and such. It'd be really nice if while in this menu ZSNES would sleep() / usleep() a little bit, so that I can have most of my CPU when emulation is stopped. Besides, my computer produces enough heat as it is, I don't need it pointlessly under load.
What version are you using? I suggest that you try the latest WIP from http://www.ipherswipsite.com and see if that fixes the problem.
