Request: Domain name support for netplay

Hey guys.

I just thought of something when I first netplayed with someone using ZSNES, just now.

Is it possible to, instead of inputting an IP address to the other server, could you input a domain which points to that IP ?

I know the average user really wouldn't have a domain for their computer, just a suggesstion/thought... thanks.

Have you tried entering a domain? Does it allow you to type characters? I use a free DDNS service to access my file server and media center PCs. Since it has been set up, I just assumed that the domain would work for ZSNES also. No time to set it up and test right now though.

I've tested it, and, it's quite possible. Works fine for me.

You could always just do an nslookup on the address if it doesn't work.

Nevermind, I had someone connect to me using my domain, and they said it worked...
