Known bug... I believe the official version of ZSNES doesn't exhibit this problem.. but I'm not sure.

Btw, the thread title does NOT correctly reflect the problem you have.

The new CPU code which will be release this summer will allow the SA-1 to take full advantage of it's improved code base so these games should be working by then. Until then please use 1.42 or be patient while we work on the delicate work of fixing the old code base. It is not an easy process and will take time. Thanks for your understanding.

v1.42 exhibited the problem where you cant see the text on level up screens... it was fixed in a later wip.

Thanks. I'll just switch to that version when playing SA-1 games.

Guys i have the latest version of zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) for SNES

I have NHL 96, 97, and 98 and all three of them freeze on me while i am playing the game and the voice clips in the games are all choppy. Is there anyway i can fix this.

Thank You

IIRC, at least NHL98 has been buggy for a long time.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Try Bsnes, haven't tried it myself, but it's praised around here.
