Hi guys. My friend and I have a problem. Either one of us can host a game fine, get into chat and talk with one another.
But when we try and load a game, it just stays black. I've looked around at other topics (there was one a bit similar) and found nothing got resolved. We tried one of the tips, we waited around ten minutes for it to load (they suggested 2-6) but it stayed black.
Here is a link to a screenshot I took of it http://www.bsforums.co.uk/forums/index. ... id=704.jpg. Any idea what we can do to make it work?
Any help appreciated,
Tom

I'll take a stab:
1) Check your routers settings' again if need be...
2) Do either of you have any extra software firewalls on either computer, besides routers? (BTW, disable the Windows Firewall)
Examples of Software firewalls: Zone Alarm, Black Ice, Norton Internet Security, etc...
I'm getting the impression that your routers are ok, but when the connection gets to your actual computers, your local software firewalls block the connection at the last second, making Zsnes hang.
Turn off the Windows Firewall, and configure any other software firewalls that you may have in the method described below:
Add "Zsnes" (Zsnes.exe) to your software firewalls' exceptions lists and/or open UDP ports 7845.
For help on this, you might want to look here:

3) Besides ISSD, what games are you attempting to play? What version of Zsnes?
I hope this helps.
Good luck....
