We both have our firewalls turned off (or we believe so), he has a wireless router, i just have straight wired internet with no router. We do the whole IP thing, and if im the host, it says client found but it never connects us. Whats wrong with this?

V1.36 by the way.

If you're using UDP, then he needs to forward port 7845 on his router. TCP, although somewhat laggier, doesn't need to be forwarded.

What software firewalls are you using? Did you disable the Windows firewall on both computers?

Try being more specific...
