R button not working in Lufia 2

R button which you use to turn without moving doesn't work in Lufia 2

I'm using ZSNES 1.42. The controllers are configured correctly and it works in battles.

Please don't post where you found the ROM. It's against the rules. Make sure you configured your controls properly.

This is a really late response.. but eh.. the only possible issue that you may be experiencing very likely is that you're using a gamepad (failing to mention that does change the issue). Use a WIP for this purpose - http://zsnes.ipherswipsite.com

I was playing Lufia II today and discovered what the problem was: pressing R does not change the direction you face. You have to press R, keep holding it and while holding it press the key on the d-pad for the direction you want to look in. So if you want to look to the left, press the key for R, hold it and press the key for left, then release both keys.

That's the way it was supposed to be done... hell, the guy in the beginning of the game explains this to you.
