Paths config stinks

Post by brunodts »

Much easier before, copy from adress bar and paste on correct field in"zguicfg.dat" and zsnes reads and writes save states. Now you are forced to use "config - paths", and where the heck is "browse" button? Are we still on dos where you should type letter by letter the path?? Or better - "ctrl + v" shoud work in the gui.

Paths can be entered directly into the zsnesw.cfg file under the Paths section provided you double up the '/'.

Clipboard support was thrown around for a bit, but noone has contributed code to add it in.

As for a browse button, that's not out of the realm of impossibilities... it would probably require some work to make this possible. Though, you have to remember this has to be done using the Custom GUI (this isn't your average app after all).

However, this probably isn't a priority as there are more important things than this. This is also not a confirmation that this will be added.. it could be added, but that's it.

Well, there is now clipboard support in SVN... well, at least for pasting anyways. Ctrl+V pastes output to the Paths boxes. You can thank Nach for that.
