I tried to play it, being a fan of the fallout games.. I just know you need to have A LOT of intelligence in order to play it successfully. I was turned off by the resolution though.

I would really liked to play it when it was new.

And in general.

The game is great fun, with a decent story. And if you don't start with atleast 13 or 15 DEX, getting out of the Mortuary can be a bitch sense you won't be able to break the guards necks.

I know my stats were poorly chosen, but disguising as mindless zombie was kind of handy with the guys near the entrance.

Ah, but if you break ones neck, take their robe, and talk to Soego at the entrance, you can talk your way out, which is worth an extra 500EXP.

Been a while since I did it, but I remember showing my real identtiy to the main guy there, he would just be surprised, give me a long speech and let me go without a problem.

I have not, however I hear it has one of the best plots ever. I'm told you want to hack the save state to start off the game, because it requires not so fun level grinding.

PS: Torment was an amazing game. It's way more fun to go through with a character loaded in non-combat stats (intelligence, wisdom, and charisma) for the multitude of dialogue options.

Never heard of it, but after reading this and digging around a bit I am rather interested to check it out. Seeing as it's rather old and set up for win95/98 do you think it would run on XP? I've found some stuff does and other don't.

Cool, thank's. I'll have to look into getting myself a copy, the game sounds fascinating.
