Need help if you don't mind...

Hey everyone. I need some help. I just recently downloaded one of my favorite games of all time - Zelda A Link to the Past. I can't get it to open. When it asks me to select which program I want to use to open it with I, of course, select ZSNES. When I try to open it, however, the mouse arrow turns into an hour glass for about a half of a second and then turns back into an arrow and NOTHING HAPPENS. The game does not open. Can someone help me with this? I've been using ZSNES for a couple of years now a LOVE IT! I'm so glad some GOOD folks put these games on the internet. Thank you and thanks to whomever can help me with this problem.

My assumption here is that you have downloaded the game that's not in .zip format. If you're using a format that is .rar or .7z, it's simply not going to work. Extract the contents of the compressed file and open the rom that way.

Open ZSNES, and go to [Game] -> [Load] and find the ROM. I can recommend putting it in the same folder as ZSNES.

Actually, it was a download that I had to extract to a folder so it was a zip file at first. It just won't open. Maybe it's the file...? Do you know where I can find Zelda A Link to the Past rom that works, if this is the case?

Because this post main topic *isn't* just asking for roms, I'll keep it open.

But asking for ROMS is against the RULES.
