I suppose this is more of a question for those programmers out there, and I'm asking it NOT to see results, but instead to see the reactions of others, and perhaps to get others to start thinkings. Maybe it'd be nice to see results, but I don't want my first post on the ZSNES forums to be:"lol omg, u r teh get me this or ur hed asplode, lol!!1"
Speaking of ZSNES, I've been a fan of it ever since I started emulating... Thought I'd throw that out there.
Now: The Question. Would it be possible for someone to design a Wii Channel that IS ZSNES? So I could play all my favorite backedup video games from my SD card, without having to buy them AGAIN from the Virtual Console. I'm almost positive it's possible, and you can store Wii Channels on the SD card, therefore transfer them to the computer and vice versa. It may require learning a new language, but I have no programming knowledge.
So! What do you all think? A worthy subject to discuss? Shall we organize a project or something?

liek omg u r not getin this lol i hld teh secrawt to ur ?!
I'm pretty sure they're people working on something through the SD cards for the Wii, but right now, nothing. Almost nothing. Someone "maybe" has got ------ to work on their Wii, you can check out the video at: http://funnydale.kotaku.com/gaming/wii/ ... 216551.php
Just wait...I'm sure someone will develop something.

i love you :-*
what the hell is a wii channel? if it involves running zsnes on the wii's processor then it won't work because zsnes only runs on x86 processors (here's a clue, the wii doesn't have an x86 processor.)
maybe snes9x could be ported over, or maybe they will just find a way to put roms on the wii, they did it with the gc and it's n64 emu.
so like totally no dude!

It looks very much like your joke though.Tylui wrote:I suppose this is more of a question for those programmers out there, and I'm asking it NOT to see results, but instead to see the reactions of others, and perhaps to get others to start thinkings. Simply no. It's been explained many times that if the system doesn't use an x86 processor, it is simply not going to happen. Even thinking of talking about projects while having no programming skills brings you nowhere. Now: The Question. Would it be possible for someone to design a Wii Channel that IS ZSNES? This shouldn't even be thought about. It is not worthy of any discussion. It is moot to organize any project if you have to port the >75% of the x86 ASM to C to even consider talking about it.So! What do you all think? A worthy subject to discuss? Shall we organize a project or something?
