Bluetooth browser?
I need a freeware not bloated bluetooth file manager to use with my bluetooth dongle to transfer files from and to my cellphone, the inbuilt thing in xp sucks because I can only transfer one file at a time.
The application I got with my dongle sucks because it installs tons of stuff I didn't ask for, and Nokia phone browser sucks because It has plenty of stuff I didn't ask for also.
So all I need is a clean and simple application that lets me brows and transfer files, any help appreciated.

spending $70 on something that would transfer the files about 90% slower? no thanks.phOnYmIkE wrote:why not try the usb cable? you're not hip to bluetooth, so don't act like it.

Does [Kevin] Smith masturbate with steel wool too?
- Yes, but don’t change the subject.

The price I don't doubt, a USB cable for my cell phone is $55. So instead I got a bluetooth dongle for some amount which I forget but it was no more than $30.funkyass wrote:that I doubt.Oskar_Hanberg wrote:spending $70 on something that would transfer the files about 90% slower? no thanks.phOnYmIkE wrote:why not try the usb cable? you're not hip to bluetooth, so don't act like it.
yeah bluetooth is actually pretty slow. some claim 3Mbps but that's a crock of shit. if I bluetooth an mp3, it takes like 1 minute, meanwhile the usb cable can do it in like 2 seconds.
plus I guarantee you can get the usb cable off ebay for $20 or less.
but I digress, the software you're looking for (or haven't looked for) does sound cool. I have used the one in windows and it's aight. I'm sure there's other stuff out there that does better. google?

$70 for a USB cable? Fuck, you can find the ones with the mini-USB plug for like $5.

I've got a Nokia 6111 so there's nothing to do other than accepting I'm stuck with blue tooth. even the "pirate" cables won't sell for less than $40 or so. I think the speed is ok. Its betweek 68-80kbps or so. but again the issue is that I want to be able to transfer multiple files and not having to send one at a time.
