Most wanted sequels?
So, people, what games would you say are in most dire need of a sequel? I'll open the bidding with the Chrono series (Chrono Trigger - Radical Dreamers - Chrono Cross). Nothing since 2000, while the FF series gets almost a dozen new games? Are you kidding me?
Whenever anybody brings up this topic, I always chime in with Sky Odyssey for PS2. And people are either like, "uhm, you're strange" or "wtf is that game?"
It's a severely unforgiving game, where certain levels take about 12 minutes the first time through. Smack into a canyon wall and you have to start over. Of course all the game review sites were "landings are too easy" but that was the fricken point of the game. Just getting to the landing strip was the challenging part.
The tightness of control in the game (using the normal control) is nearly perfect, and the upgrades seriously affect how the airplane handles. I just wish the game wouldn't present the "easy" control as an option when beginning a new game, as I assume most beginners pick that when starting, and come to the conclusion that the control sucks.
Meh, enough. I won't convince anybody else to actually play this game, let alone demand a sequel.

1. Kid Icarus. One of the best Nintendo games ever, comparable to Metroid and Zelda.
I hope a Wii or DS sequel is released. If they can make it better than the phenomenal GameBoy version,it'll be like heaven
2. A Donkey Kong (Country) platform game _not_ by RARE.
3. Solar Striker - Do you remember Nintendo's lonewolf GameBoy shooter?
I want a *harder* DS sequel.

VAGRANT STORY

I can't wait to get a PSP so I can play Vagrant Story on it with the official emulator.

Whatare your sources dude. It is a fact that they are developing it, much like Van Buren was (heck, van buren was a conceptually finished game :/), just we don't know (but we highly likely suspect) that they will axe it.Que wrote:Are they really? Or is it rumor, my sources point to rumor.
Well, the Fallout engine was buggy as fuck.Que wrote:If Bethesda does to fallout three what they did to oblivion(all the leveling gltiches/problems), it will be ghey.

I rented the original Pit Fighter once when I was a kid, from a tiny corner store that had only like 5 games (Pit Fighter being the only one not rented)
Up until this point I really hadn't played a truly bad game (Owned mostly Mario, Zelda and other big N franchises) and after Pit Fighter I realized that it was possible to make a shit that just wouldnt flush
