There's a link to the Ebay auction as well.

It doesn't function exactly like the Super Scope?

It'd be hilarious if this were dumped, then the lightgun it uses was emulated.

I'd also speculate it does in fact use the same super scope basic technology as far as communicating with the system and game. I mean, what other option did it really have? I'm not aware of any other major technologies used in video games during that time period for gun communication.

Well from the picture I can't see the box that you put on top of the TV that the superscope used. I see a little grey thing sitting next to the soldier but if that's it, surely that's a little too close to work?

No joke, I used that thing when I went through Basic Training at Fort Benning, Georgia in 2001. It was horrible. Why they even bothered with it in the first place I'll never know.

It isn't the same as a super scope, the gun connected directly to the snes. There are several different versions of the MACS, and one of them is dumped. If I can get ahold of some of the buyers, I'll try and get them to take pictures of the title screens. At one point in time, Nintendo and the army used this as contests at state fairs and stuff.
<pagefault> i'd break up with my wife if she said FF8 was awesome
