Yeah, I know that the OEM versions has been out for a while now. I'm just surprised people lined up for this.

after reading that story, the whole atmosphere of vista being released feels like "big deal" (say in your head with a lot of sarcasm.) I wonder how many people got their copies at midnight, then rushed home and spent five hours playing with their new os, just to show up late for work the next day...

Joe: Nah, it was at some retail outlet (like Best Buy, Radio Shack, or something.) this case, iirc it was a Meijer store.
