Well well well... first we had:
The English translation patch for a hentai game, the name of which I forgot
Requirements in obtaining that patch: Send a photo of yourself with the original game + cut up the bonus CD and send a photo of that too.
Now we have:
Nightwolve's v0.99 English Translation patch for Ys Oath in Felghana
Requirements in obtaining patch: Must have original game, and patch will have VIRUS/MALWARE!
What's with the fan translation scene and faggotry?
Apparently there's been some censorship/account banning on NightWolve's website (IE can't handle criticizm) relating to illegality and hypocrisy.
See my next post for a transcript of NightWolve and someone else.

My view? As far as I'm concerned "NightWolve" can suck a big dong. While it's not as bad as hentai game disc cutting up or Sony's music CD malware, it is still bad. If he's unhappy about the amount of voluntary Paypal donations, then tough luck. There is never a good reason for virus/malware/anything of the sort.
PS. Shouldn't it be "NightWolf"? NightWolve suggests multiple wolfs(wolves)...except no "s". "NightWolve" is weird.

NightWolf wrote: "I think I know them well enough to make an educated guess like that. Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. I've been at this for a long long time."
FrayedHope wrote:Making an "educated guess" like that is nothing but presumptuous and arrogant. I doubt I need to say more, all you need to do is look up the definitions of those two words if you're still unsure.
NightWolf wrote: "You're telling me one can afford a $100 game, but then turn stingy for $5 or so assuming they know I exist and are eagerly awaiting a patch that'll make the game they bought English?"
FrayedHope wrote:Thanks for putting words in my mouth. No, I didn't say anything of the like. Lots of people can afford a 100 dollar game, and you do deserve reparation for your work, even though it wouldn't have been possible without Falcom's game, to begin with, you and lots of others still put lots of time and effort into it. That's why I'd hate to see it tainted with malicious software because of some personal vendetta you have against piracy.
NightWolf wrote: "So, you wanna get exact details cause you have a pirated copy??"
FrayedHope wrote:Wow. Yet another assumption.
No, I don't care for exact details, because I do not own a pirated NOR legitimate copy, it's just a game I've been interested in for a while... until I saw that you said you'd be including viruses or whatever into it. Imbedding malicious software into ANYTHING for ANY reason, or even coding it in the first place is just plain ****ed up. Case closed. If you think that it's moral in any way, you're no better than the "warez kiddies" you mock.
NightWolf wrote: "Well, if you have a legititmate copy, there's nothing to worry about. What did you not understand about this all being related to a torrent? Hint: That's related to pirating. You wanna portray yourself as what here, against pirating the game, but also against some anti-pirating measure? Quit wasting my time, please."
FrayedHope wrote:Yes, there IS something to worry about when you say that you're including malicious software into it for WHATEVER REASON, or even coding it to begin with. I don't think I need to reiterate that, though.
NightWolf wrote: "On the off chance he has an original copy, he's still been advancing the pro-pirating position in everything he has said and done."
FrayedHope wrote:I am not advancing any position besides my own opinion that coders of malicious software should be banned from the internet in its entirety. That's of course not possible, though.
You've put a lot of words in my mouth and made quite a few assumptions, but all I wish to say is this:
Computer viruses and other sorts of malicious software are just plain ****ED UP, and so are the ones who create them. Yes, I'd go so far as to say it's worse than piracy, as well. No, I do not condone piracy, before you try and flame me for that, either. YOU are making a ***** attempt at being manipulative and making me out to be pro-piracy. All I am is anti-malware. Apparently, you're not. I think I'll be playing through the game in Japanese, if I do buy it. Sorry to all of you who donated if your computer gets ****ed up.
why don't you just play some other game? nobody's forcing you to use this guy's hack or play this stupid game. just relax, go outside, and get some sun, it'll do ya some good!

Why don't you leave this thread, and don't come back until you have something relevant to say?phOnYmIkE wrote:why don't you just play some other game? nobody's forcing you to use this guy's hack or play this stupid game. just relax, go outside, and get some sun, it'll do ya some good!
FYI, I have already finished this game in Japanese, I don't care about the patch. However, I'm not about to let NightWolve do what he wants without criticizm.

If you are the one who leaked his patch I hope that you will rot in hell. Donations are not enough to support the project and I think that because of the leak his donations went down real fast and he was in financial problems. Personally it won't be long before he shut down his website. He also want everyone to support Falcom by buying the game directly from Japan on Falcom stores. Oh and how do you know that he's patch have a virus?Unforgiven wrote:Why don't you leave this thread, and don't come back until you have something relevant to say?phOnYmIkE wrote:why don't you just play some other game? nobody's forcing you to use this guy's hack or play this stupid game. just relax, go outside, and get some sun, it'll do ya some good!

Yes I know that my grammar sucks!
1. I said I don't care about the patch, I don't want it. I hope YOU rot in hell for the out-of-hand assumptions.Neo Kaiser wrote:If you are the one who leaked his patch I hope that you will rot in hell.
