The question is: do you want to create a NEW memory card file or do you want to just use one with the emulator? Every emulator I tried out (giving names: AdriPSX, PSXeven, Connectix VGS, Bleem, pSX, ePSXe and PCSX) create memory card files at startup, so you can just move those included inside the e...

You also mentioned about using root to find the pointer device, so I must assume two things, after reading everything... First and ever, you must be lacking some privilegies for users in your device file system, if you are using udev, try some of its graphical tools to help you set the correct privi...

Who are you to define what 'garbage' data is? It's a terrible idea to get rid of any information from a ROM dump. Fill bytes or patterns can most certainly be used in the ROM for whatever reason. The reason for complaining is because it is made for a SDL port (or so is explained in the docs)... Then, just don't make sense using another input method, understand? :D If they...

Nahoj84 it's actually, a ZSNES linux problem indeed... It happens because he uses (probably, as i don't know much of it) X11 style input... I have fixed it with some code but forgot to put up the solution for Zsnes devs :(... I will make that again, someday, maybe... But i will post here if the prob...
