Thankyou. That worked. Edit: Yay! Notice any changes/improvements with the cpu optimizations? Not really, since the optimisations only affect the SDL port for now. I'm really chuffed that my build works just like ipher's. As far as I can tell, all that the SDL port has over the Windows port is that...

I'm using the same version of the driver (though Windows XP) and the only problem I've had is a crash due to the controller being detected and lost multiple times very quickly. (Duct tape is an awful substitute for solder, by the way.) Nach is collecting crash stories in this thread though, so it co...

I've done it with a homemade Xbox to USB adapter and it works very well. You can use either joystick or the digital pad or even the buttons as the SNES digital pad, whatever you want. I've especially enjoyed using an Xbox controller for N64 emulation myself. For drivers I highly recommend XBCD , tak...

http://www.geocities.com/washuu108/zsnesw.zip Edit: Was on my way to work earlier, didn't have time to say anything or even test that. (Build+upx finished pretty much as I was out the door) Still, if a complete newbie to the ZSNES GUI code can modify it, I guess it means ipher's been doing his job....

I dealt with ME for about 5 years, so I know what you're going through... I can only suggest a few things, though. = scanregw /fix = Reinstall DirectX (Guess you already did, but again couldn't hurt...) = Go through dxdiag and run all of the tests = Uninstall/reinstall any special keyboards or joyst...

Thought this would be a nice, relatively easy way to get a little familiar with the ZSNES source, and if at least one person will use it, why not? http://www.geocities.com/washuu108/zsnes.patch.txt Gives the option to have the fullscreen right-click behavior in windowed mode. The current dragging be...

I always get an empty rawvideo.bin when I attempt to dump an old format movie, so I'm assuming that it only works for the new format at this point. CVS is on Sourceforge, and I haven't used mencoder so I can't help you there. For a tip, though, you'll need a decent amount of space in your save direc...

AspiringSquire, what did you do to fix this? windres --define GCC_WINDRES -o zlibrc.o win32/zlib1.rc windres: win32/zlib1.rc:9: syntax error mingw32-make: *** [zlibrc.o] Error 1 Edit: Nevermind, apparantly I missed twice that you fixed it by using zlib 1.2.1... (Go ahead and delete, if anyone...

Since I had to redo the O, T, and G tests anyway, (couldn't match old values) I took better care this time in making sure the conditions were the same for each build, such as using a movie for testing instead of playing myself, and repeating each test. Also took some steps to reduce overall CPU usag...
