Those aren't borders, those are color schemes.
That I know the SGB did.

Tetris DX has a special border if you play it on a Super Game Boy 2. Strange thing considering the game came out before the SGB2. Also, the game Golf Classic, that came out a year before the SGB, also has a border. Strangely enough. Not strange in the slightest. Both the SGB and SGB2 have specific ...

I'm going to guess no GBC-only games have borders (a waste just for a warning screen)? No GBC only games have borders. Although, that nensondubois guy claimed he has seen a border for Pokemon Crystal a couple of times, but he doesn't know how he got it. But then again, people claimed Subzero turned...

Sorry for bumping an old topic, but I've encountered two ways to get wrongly colored screenshots like that with ZSNES: 1) Is to use a quickkey to take snaps (instead of using F1). After a bunch of screens the colors get all screwy. 2) To pause the game with the emulator pause and take a snap, or adv...

Ok, I don't know WTF just happened but indeed, those are not my comments, they are from the topic creator on the board I linked to. There's only a handful of games where a SGB isn't a worse option than the GBColor/Advance or GameBoy emulator. I taken you've only played a few SGB games? The Super Gam...

The Super Game Boy DOES work.
A guy named ugetab made a PAR codes that allow you to load and play with the Super Game Boy. If anyone has tried the SGB rom before, they have noticed that it just sits there. But with this code you can now load the device and play with the menus. The guy claims you can load GB games too, but I have...

The "224 lines" issue is not fixed.
Hello guys. Just before anyone says anything let me tell you that I did use the search feature and looked at 8 pages back to see if anyone else asked/mentioned this. If someone did, then I must have missed it. My excuses in advance. Anyway, on the main page it says "On the emulation side of thi...

Auto frame skipping is on. The problem is when I set it at frame skip +2, it goes unplayable fast. I thought there might have been a way to make higher frame skips not as quick 'cause sometimes you want to play a game faster than normal but on a fast computer anything other than standard speed is ve...

I obviously have, or else I wouldn't be posting this personal zsnes problem here ;) I reduced the Fastforward ratio to x2 (lowest one) and frameskip +1 still goes at amazingly unplayable speeds. I mean, I'm sure there's not way to modify that in the current zsnes, but maybe it's something that shoul...

ZSNES goes way too fast.
I recently updated my old (very old) PC to a 3ghz P4 and ZSNES goes unplayably fast on frameskip +1. On auto frameskip it plays at a normal speed, just like a SNES. But sometimes I wish to play a bit faster than normal and, on my old (very old) PC, I could. On auto framskip I played just like a norm...

I know I can use the windows version.... But if I'm running the DOS version it's because I'm more confortable with it, it's more stable, faster and doesn't have a weird screenshot bug the windows version has (which is the main reason why I use zsnes dos). Besides, this is the bug report forum and th...

1.40/1.41 DOS version bug
After 1.40 DOS version of ZSNES was released I started to encounter the following bug when I double clicked on a game to play. Check the screenshot: http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/bug.jpg I did not encountered that bug when I used the older offical Zsnes builds or any of the WIP Zsnes builds. I am usin...
