Importing Some Games, Need Advice
I've been playing Dragon Quest V and VI on ZSNES for a while, but it's not the same to me as owning the original cartridges, so I ebayed them and won them. So now, I have DQV, DQVI, as well as FFIV, FFV, FFVI and Chrono Trigger shipping to my house right now. These are Super Famicom cartridges. I al...

Noob Question, Netplay over Lan
Hello everyone, I hope this isn't a redundant question. First of all, I LOVE Zsnes like crazy. Best program ever in my opinion. I'm not sucking up, it's true. Anyway... I am running a Lan in my home. Three PC's, each one is running Ubuntu Dapper with all the latest updates. I was hoping there is a w...

It does look like Dos 6.2 has several things that would make the project easier. However, I have used the WIndows version of ZSNES, and I don't know if its just me, but the Linux version seems to run faster and look better. I've never used the DOS version before, how is that in comparison to the Lin...

ZBox (Tentative Title) Project, Need Some Pointers With It
Hello all, due to the fact I am extremely bored and I need something to do, I decided to make a ZSNES set-top box. I posted about this before I think, but didnt know how to explain it so you guys were probably clueless. Anyhow, I have an old computer case and parts, and eventually I want to make it ...

That wasn't checked to begin with. This is odd, All my other audio/video programs work fine, all my other games work fine too, just Zsnes has a problem. Is its sound system unique in any way? I've tried all the sound settings one by one, nothing helps. I even tried changing the sound system under Gn...

I deleted my .zsnes folder to set everything back to default, so the two options I mentioned earlier when it comes to the gui have an effect now. However, the sound problems still persist. With bilinear filter and hi-res mode 7 enabled, I get a perfect picture although the options menu is very blurr...

ZSNES Linux Based Settop Box
Hello all, I am planning on (eventually) designing a Zsnes/Debian based settop box. (A small computer that will hook up to a television). Basically I want to have an extremely tiny Linux installation, just enough to run ZSNES, sound, and joysticks, nothing more, nothing less. My wife asked me why do...
