bsnes problem
Okay, downloaded bsnes, opened it up. Decided to screw around with the video settings. This is where it gets hazy, I pressed something that said "5x", and it just dissappeared. I am still able to see it in the tray, but it does not actually show up. I have deleted it, re-downloaded, and it...

I'll be getting the physical system in a couple weeks, just need then just need to get modchip. About the soldering, I have a father that can help, but I am...

Yes, i am well aware of the modchip, it took me quite while to find ANYWHERE that sells them. I'm hoping I can saulder it, considering I haven't touched one in about 6 months (some jackass decided to unplug it, and give it to me 10 seconds afterwards, and me not thinking, picked it up on the metal a...

First of all, thank you link, I will try that out with the next game I burn. I went and got CloneCD, and chose the write option. I then found the .IMG, but that was all that showed up, no others. I decided to try it anyways. I chose the file (in this case FFVII disk 1) and then found they had a game...

PSX burning help
First of all, if this is in the wrong area (or is against the boards rules) then I apologize. I have recently gotten into the PSX console, and decided to buy one, get a mod-chip (took me a while to find a place to sell those little buggers) and play back-ups and what-not. I have acquired a few games...

OK I am actually using the live CD right now of ubuntu, and I'm really liking it :) I still have a lot of questions though. My first is revolving around the actual operation of installing it, I myself, am OK at the technical stuff, of course I am 14, so I'm nowhere near most of you, I am fairly conf...

If you want to buy another internal hard drive (one for windows and one for Linux), you can do that, however you'll need to setup GRUB for that. What is GRUB??? could I just install the hdd with the normal wizard? Then install Ubuntu onto it? Also, how does the live cd work, do I just need to stick...

linux, just a few questions
HI I have been toying with the idea of using linux for quite a while and I have finally decided to do it. I'm going for ubuntu. As I was looking around for information on installing and such, I found that some places recommend that you don't use the hard drive that your other files are on, so do I n...

homebrew ds
HI I am interested in running homebrew on my ds, and I had a few questions. Whats the best way to make the ds run homebrew? I was looking around and saw NoPass, and from what I can see, you don't need to do any of the short circuiting, is this true? And is the emulation good on the ds? all help appr...

first of all, yes, you can make a usb adaptor for a snes controller. I can't give you an exact link, but I have come across multiple sites with instructions. The Smartjoy is also great, i own one and I haven't had any lag so far. But it ended up costing me around $40 canadian. So it all comes down t...

problems with the ROMS
ok, I went and downloaded super mario kart, and when i tried to "open with", i chose zsnes, and for some reason it didn't want to go onto the selection list. I accidentally pressed ok (not knowing that zsnes was not selected)and suddenly all my ROMs were not zsnes files...they were nothing...
