Snark, you're just streaming video to yourself of your own controller inputs. Well obviously. ...But not over the friggin' internet though. :/ Just to be curious, I'd like to see the difference of bandwidth (or whatever the proper term) between a standard PC VGA cable and a (good) high speed ADSL c...

Re: Onlive
have you guys heard of this yet? it could be big. What it is in action The service is a gaming equivalent of cloud computing with the game being computed, rendered and stored online...A low-end computer, as long as it can play video, may be used to play any kind of game since the game is computed o...

Star Ocean: The Last Hope Cliched storyline, awesome fighting system. Voice dub choice? I'm one of those annoying people who just can't stomach English dubs. Unlike Blue Dragon for example, the choice wasn't present in Vesperia unfortunately (probably because of disc space restriction) And yeah, I ...

I wasn't kidding about the similarity of sounds effects looks like it also applies to the music Just noticed: Is it just me or does the music in Air Fortress (during the first/flying phase) sounds suspiciously like the main theme of Adventure of Lolo? Air Fortress (1:00) Adventure of Lolo (0:50) edi...

Almost all Sunsoft games on the NES and Game Boy were high quality masterpieces.
Air Fotress by Hal (another good Nes dev imo) was one of my favorite back then.

Listening to the first track now... You must hear track six. It is the penultimate of the collection :D Still awesome after seven years. LOL! Just awesome. Wouldn't be nearly half as good/bad without the synthesized voice though imo. Seriously, can't get this out of my head 'So-bad-it's-almost-good...

Lincohn only emanicipated the slaves for political reasons... mainly to trick Europeans into thinking that the war w...

The Adventures of Bayou Billy .....Just kidding. Seriously don't play that, it's awful. I actually liked Bayou Billy. Tough as hell, but the 3 modes of play were pretty cool. Yeah, I must have actually finished Bayou Billy when I was a kid, embarrassing as that is. Back in those days, I had much mo...

Radia Senki: Reimeihen Are shadows often used like that in NES RPGs, or is this unusual? I haven't seen that many. Don't know but the game is definitely more graphically detailed in some parts then most NES RPGs. Some of the buildings in the town at the beginning for example. Bump 'N' Jump http://u...

Good stuff, good stuff. Kirby imo would probably fall within the well known series by now. I can suggest Flipull. Ah yes Flipull. Great overlooked puzzle game. Although, it's not technically an NES/Famicom game, more of an arcade port, still awesome. The game is extremely easy to play, yet very chal...

Lesser known (good) NES(/Famicom) games
I've been revisiting NES as of late, so wonder what more obscur games I might have missed. Lesser known means: no Super Mario, Zelda, Castlevania, Metroid... etc. Anything else is ok, even stuff like Rygar etc which are pretty well known still but might be unknown for some. I'll start. Journey to Si...

The chainsaw dude gets you, and you don't fucking die Yeah, first time the chainsaw guy got me, I readied(?) myself for the old RE4 decapitation sequence only to be "healed" by the partner..."You need to be more careful!" (Indeed, in 1976 the World Health Organization has stated...

GGPO must actually be tailored for each individual game's code for the magic to work. So it only support a limited (albeit growing) number of games. That's kind of lame if that were the case. That's the very nature of the code though. I think it's based heavily on some predictive algoritm or someth...
