sram saves are compatible with all versions, except maybe the very first public release ever =\ Why shouldn't it? Completely random comments deserve completely random franpa alerts. Afaik, sram saves are completely not related to emulators, and created by the rom only. They can be exchanged and use...

I'm also into mame and I agree it needs a sticky but I don't think such thing will happen unless more people that are into Mame come out... I'm using Mameplus because of its graphic filters and stuff and my favourite version is 0.108, i found that it works best with my system and roms... What I'm re...

Re: Save file lost for Super Mario RPG
I had moved all the files for the ROM to a new folder (they were on my desktop) and tried to play Sm rpg, and it didn't have my save file. I then tried to move all the files back to where they were when the save file showed up, but it didn't work. Please help! If it helps anyone, my ROM and .srm ha...

Re: VBA Re-Recording
HQxS and HQxBold. *this quotes were getting too big* I've made some search , but unfortunately I couldn't find almost any information about these on the web. Does anyone know how can it create so good images with low resource consumption -compared to regular ones I mean-. Can you please explain sho...

Re: VBA Re-Recording
Did you know about this build and filters? Yup. IIRC, someone else wrote it, and I'm not even sure he had permission to do so by the original author. It can be confusing in fact. What do you mean ? Aren't both VBA and Hq(x)x filters open-source ? Anyway, it seems so interesting that this filtering ...

VBA Re-Recording
I have been messing with VBA builds for some time and I think I finally found what ı was looking for.Although it is mainly concentrated on movie recording stuff, It has some great features that makes it stand above other builds imho. The most importantly its performance is way better than 1.8.0 buil...

For me Interpolation:Cubic Lowpass:Hi Q gives the best quality. If I remember correctly, irrelevant interpolation options like 8-point and cubic are going to be gone in the next release, anyway. too bad ,if right .that'd cause me to use 1.50 forever I guess. Ok, that is a lame excuse to stick with ...

I don't know if it can be considered hard (not too hard except a few memorable fights imho) but Tales of Phantasia is one of the games that I love playing most on Zsnes. Great atmosphere, awesome music, good story development, with both a good twist of humor and some sad moments also. I place it in th...

I tried playing the FFVI port on the 'latest' version of VBA and it sounded terrible. Not just lesser quality (which was expected with a port such as this) but it had all sorts of garish audio artifacts. With them not bothering to update it, I could force myself to sit through all the audio torture...

Yep, I think the last updated build was VBA-S by Spacy that was based on 1.8.0 and after he quitted now it seems there is nobody working on it.Too bad. I wish there was a dedicated team working on it , just like in Zsnes, because I am mostly into GBA emulation after Snes emulation VBA development in...

I had 'bothered' with Saturn emulation a lot in the past but after some time I got fed up and quit. Saturn emulation is very inaccurate compared to N64 or Psx emulation and my 2.2 Ghz pc with 128 MB Radeon card is not enough for getting good performance.Even DC games have better performance It's bec...
