They've gone as far as making games have less strobe effects. Take Chrono Trigger DS or Secret of Mana on the virtual console. When the cannon shoots, the flash is now a dim, white pulse (instead of the bright, flickering strobe). In CT DS, Lightning 2/Thundaga no longer has the same flicker effect,...

Okay, as I said before, I already restored (and still am in the process of doing) most of the files I erroneously formatted. Yes, I made a HUGE and very stupid mistake, and yes, I know very well that I got mocked AND the crap beaten out of for it. But now that this issue is no longer existent, can't...

....... :? Oh, I see how it is now. I go on a forum and ask a technical question just to have my freakin' head bitten off. Not to mention have myself compared to a kid who not only breaks everything he touches, but sucks at life. Gee, had I know that before I would've never asked for advice. It all ...

Inadvertent HDD formatting = beating myself up for doing so
Okay, so, I was attempting to reinstall WinXP on another PC (the OS had corrupt system files, and thus needed to be reisntalled). Not to mention that the Windows HDD wasn't being detected, but I didn't realize this until AFTER. So, I boot of the XP CD to initialize an reinstall. Well, I do so, but i...

Sorry about that, it's just when you spend money on something like this, you'd expect it to work the way it's meant to. But, alas, there's not much that can be done about this. I've heard that pSX author is working on another version of pSX that has PS2 emulation. Hopefully one day, when that's out,...

Whether or not this controller is a PS/PS2 or an Xbox 360, they both use analog sticks, the issue should be irrelevant. Why else would the C-stick work on PJ64 without any issues and yet PS/PS2 emulators can't use analog in their plugins? Gee, that's a mystery. All the other PSX to USB adaptors I sa...

I do have a PS2, it's just this way is more convenient. I was merely asking if it's possible to first, configure a plugin to accept input from the analog sticks, and second, if it can be used. If it can work on PJ64 (which uses DirectInput), then why can't PCSX2/ePSXe (which also uses it)? Game pad ...

Yep. Already tried that. Didn't do jack squat. I've tried various plugins, went to emuforums.com and I'm worried by the fact that some have speculated that DirectInput prevents analog from working. This can't be right, I've heard of people getting it to work. Edit 8:23PM: Here's what I find weird; p...
